Topic description
Topic ID: HORIZON-CL4-2022-RESILIENCE-01-10
Title: Innovative materials for advanced (nano)electronic components and systems
Call: A digitized, resource-efficient and resilient industry 2021 HORIZON-CL4-2022
Destination 2: Increased autonomy in key strategic value chains for resilient industry
Deadline: March 30th 2022
Topic budget overview: 20 M€
Type of action: RIA (Research and Innovation Action)
TRL: Activities are expected to start at TRL 3 and achieve TRL 5
Project idea
The aim of the project is to develop a new technology for optical sensors applications. This technology is based on the development of TiO2 (or other metal oxide such as ZnO) sol gel and their deposition by direct nanoimprinting. This method offers the advantages of:
Fewer manufacturing steps compared to classical Nano-Imprint Lithography - NIL (from 3 to 1 step).
Easier 3D patterning.
The final application can be addressed to multiple markets such as:
Biosensors.
Gaz and pollution detection (such as VOC).
Light sensors.
